How come our G's don't have power folding mirrors? I seen the new FX50/35 and it has powerfolding mirrors! No fair that the G never gets anything first. No around view camera either!

 

...it just doesn't. I guess they have to keep some features reserved for other cars to increase exclusivity.

 

maybe someone should do a DIY and add the FX50 folding mirrors to the G37

They are indeed power folding cause this guy was in the new fx and he showed the power folding mirrors working in a certain part of the video:

Plus on the infinti website states it too:

Website also says the FX has:

"Front driver and passenger LED puddle lamps"

No fair they also get LED puddle lamps!

 

Yeah I had a 2005 Nissan Maxima before my G37 and it had power folding mirrors and heated stearing wheel.. now why our more $$$ G37 doesnt have this is beyond me!!

 

UCLA or Igor could perhaps come up with a fix for this.. i heard they good with wires lol

The GTR has them.. I wonder if it would be easier to use the parts from the GTR?

 

What I'm wondering is how come the M45X doesn't have them. It's Infiniti's top of the line sedan, so I'd expect it to have that basic luxury amenity. Only the FX35/50s and the QX56 has power folding mirrors.


So sad the max had them but our "more expensive" G's don't even get them.

But then again the max is built in America, unlike the G37 which is built in Japan. Maybe that has something to do with it

You know what's funny, when I took delivery of my G37, I noticed on the dealer sticker that the car's final assembly point was Los Angeles, CA! I didn't even know Infiniti had a plant over in LA. But I do know the engine is from Japan.....says so on the nice metal plate in the engine compartment.

 

Hysterical... I thought the same thing as OP because my super exclusive 04 Maxima had them. Haha
