painting the bumper inserts
#16
Mine are holding up well. My process was to remove and thoroughly clean and dry the inserts, spray 3 light coats of Duplicolor primer for the paint to adhere to, painted with 3 coats of black Duplicolor spray paint, finished with 2 coats of Duplicolor clear coat. The duplocolor black you find at your auto parts store is a perfect match to KH3 Black Obsidian. I let them cure about 3 full days before putting them back but that probably wasn't necessary.

Good picture of yours online somewhere?

Glossy. Looked great at first but has lots of rock ships now. The older your car gets, the more faded and grayish the inserts will get, might as well paitn them. If you get wax on them unpainted they also will be chalky, it's easy to wipe right off with them painted.
