Getting rid of the amber in the headlights has been on the top of my list from day one. I have found out that importing those headlights are near impossible and way costly. So I've been thinking about having the amber pieces remolded in a clear plastic. I'm now leaning towards a smoked or tinted plastic to go along with black chrome housings. I just need a spare headlight set to start the project.

would it possible to open up the headlights and apply temporary vinyl tint on the amber strip so in case i get pulled over and require a vehicle inspect i can rebake the headlights and remove the amber overlay??
If not I'll just go with bluebat overlays...but i really just want to get rid of the amber.. temporarily

Is your amber painted BO? If not, then what color? Looks good.
Guy name "Igor" did it for me, here are some more pics, I also changed the turn signal to white, so i wont have any orange shade in the headlight housing.

So you want it to look like this? This was my first choice, but agree not economically viable.
