Drivers Side Window Not Reseting

Brought my G37 out today from it's winter hibernation and noticed that the driver's side window, which as you know slips down a 1/4 of an inch when you open it, does not go back into place when I shut the door. Everytime I open the door, it goes down again, but not back up. I can do the window up all the way when I get in, but it should happen automatically.

Anyone else encounter this issue, and if so how did you correct it?

building on that info... i have a problem where the driver side window will roll up when i use the AUTO, but doesnt stay up. It immediately comes right back down about 50%. I tired the resets, took it to dealer, he tried to re-time the window as well using various methods... NO LUCK.

Solution: Dealer ordering me a new window motor
Reason: Driver side window will not re-time

Just thought i'd pass that along in case anyone was havin similar issues.

When resetting, make sure you don't press the button up/down all the way to the Auto Up or Auto Down position, just the regular up or down position.

Ahuja, I have this same problem where when I use Auto-Up, the window goes all the way up and then automatically comes back down 50% of the way. Yet when I use Manual-Up it will go all the way there and stay there. I tinker with the ever mentioned 15-second down and up "window reset" and sometimes it fixes it for a few moments but sure and SOON enough the window will keep doing this again and again. I'm pretty sure I have the same issue and need a new window motor.

Leave it to Infiniti to not even be able to engineer/perfect window technology.

Will they charge you for a new window motor or is that covered under warranty?
