Clear bra installed prices?
Anyone have any idea what I should expect to pay to buy and have a clear bra professionally installed on my wife's G? I found a guy relatively close to where I live that does the Stealthshield and called him today and he quoted me $500 installed for the whole front end including lights and mirrors with a lifetime warranty. I've never looked into this before so don't know what to expect.
Also, dude said that it wouldn't be noticeable on most vehicles unless it has quite a bit of pearl in it. My wife's G is an '09 white G37S coupe and it does have a little bit of pearl to it. Anyone have any experience with a clear bra on this color car? Is it real noticeable?

whoah thats a really good price.. i think the average person pays about 750 for half hood, mirrors, front end.
i paid 800 something for my ventureshield.. and yes they all usually have lifetime warranty. it is not noticeable unless u look for it and ure standing really close to ur car. remember to detail it with products made for plastics and not ur regular waxes. when ur car is clean and detailed u can barely see the clearbra even if u try looking for it!

I paid $695 installed for my VentureShield clear bra so $500 seems like a great reasonable price (especially with lifetime warranty). I have a PG coupe and you can HARDLY see it on my car, the lighter the car, the less you should be able to see it. So on a white car I'm thinking you'll have to be on top of the car to see the line. Don't hesitate to do the clear bra.....such a good investment. Glad I made it.

Yeah he quoted me $650 originally and that included the half hood but I didn't like the idea of haveing that line run accross the hood so I asked him to take that out of the price...hence the $500 quote. Anyway, I'm bringing it to him tomorrow morning, yes Sunday, because I leave Monday morning to go out of country for a few weeks and wanted to get this done before I left. I'll let you know how it turns out tomorrow eve.

No, just the entire front end section, from seam to seam, the mirrors, and the headlights. There won't be anything on the fenders past where the front section meets up to it.

HTP- It's the Stealthshield kit, minus the half hood for $500.
CHI-TOWN and xlack- Because of your replies, I'm going with the half hood as well. Dude said I could always get it removed if I wanted. I'm just a stickler for details and I know if I can see that line it's gonna bug me! Thanks again.

Just got back and I'm satisfied with it. Lines are not that noticeable and being that it's my wife's car, she could care less anyway! Glad I went with the hood as well as the front section of the fenders. Thanks for all the info on this.
