I did this last weekend, I'm thinking of taking the black on the engine cover and painting it white.

Hood Latch Bolts

There's nothing that doesn't look better with titanium bolts. Including the hood latch.

Hey Zoster,

Did you have problems getting your blue silicone hose on the radiator?? I have a set from Z1 Motorsports and I just could not get it on!! It seemed to be so much smaller in diameter than the black one. I tried everything but just could not get it to go on. Also I couldn't get the hose off of the top connection (by the radiator cap). The hose was like stuck on tight, I couldn't pull it off no how.

I'm trying to find a way to get the hose on. Any tips, or know how's or tricks where I can get the hose on to the connectors?? I would appreciate it.

Nick

No the Samco Hoses fit on perfectly with no problems except that it was just a tad shorter than OEM.

Guys I want to dress up the engine bay a bit and want to start by replacing the radiator cap and oil fill cap. Thing is I am finding a lot of Cap that raise the pressure of the cooling system. Any long term issue's with these? Hate to blow a hose or something sitting in traffic on a 100 degree day due to a "pretty" cap.

I see these nice clean engine bays here but my engine looks horrible...

Does this happen to anyone's engine? I tried spraying degreaser and wiping it but that's the result...

NAM, try some Simple Green and WD-40 with a small brass bristle brush. I've used it on all my aluminum parts in the engine compartment to keep that kind of corrosion from appearing.

Did a little cleaning today......

Just got this done yesterday. Wen't with a classic red look and went over it with clear to make everything pop a bit more. Think I should do the radiator shroud too? And yes my engine bay is dusty lol.

Ah you did the radiator shroud as well. I'm still on the fence about that. Painting the coolant reservoir is a great idea. And your IPL engine cover looks sick!
