Any sources on Turn signal bulbs? One's that dont blink rapidly.

I'm looking to purchase a new pair of turn signals, The color should be white/hyper white/ just BRIGHT white to make it simple, since it has to stand out, & it can't blink like its on steroids or just rapidly blink, preferably a clear colored one, cause all I'm getting is a light blue colored bulbs..

just to be sure, their 7440 correct?

Why not just get an LED with Load Equalizers to prevent the quick blinking?

Another option is to go with mirror orange bulbs. You do not see the orange unless you turn them on.

Several of us are using them and no blinking problem since they are not LED.

Get an LED bulb, it will blink fast, until you put a load resistor on it.

Ive been running this setup for about 2 years now and havent had any problems.

thanks stoof, but the load resistors look a bit complicated, anyone have a DIY on it? i would take on the job but i don't want to screw the wiring up.

i was looking at this btw - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PIAA-...QQcmdZViewItem

which one do you recommend, Xtreme white or Hyper white?

If you want a cheap ($3.49 each), easy, non-orange normal, orange when turn signal on, no fast flashing, then here is an option. Here

Go to almost the bottom of page. Get Amber if you want it to be orange/amber when you turn on the turn signal. Three other colors to choose from.
7440 Single Filament or 7443 Dual Filament
Looks transparent in clear lenses, but lights up in your choice of colors.

Next one is brighter:

Introducing the Chrome-Dome
(40% brighter than the full chrome bulbs)

one question though. how noticeable are the turn signals without the amber marker? the stock housing lights up the whole amber when signals are on, making it easily noticeable. I'd imagine with clear housing and those bulbs, it would be a single area blinking, not too noticeable.... ?
