20% all around on a BO with stone interior and it looks great. Not to dark or light. Pay for the quality tint. Good tint has a different dye and gives a slight glare that looks very classy. Cheap tint has a cheap dye thats black and gives no glare and looks boring comparatively.

I am thinking of getting either 40/30% huper optiks or 40% huper optiks all around. It's gonna cost me but I think it will be worth it come summer time. How do you guys feel about having different shades of tint from the back to the front?

I have a BO with black interior. I did 35 on the sides and 25 on the rear. Looks very clean. I was thinking about doing 35 on the front windows and everything else 25. But I didn't like the idea of having two different tint colors on the same side. Anything darker then 25 on the rear, will reduce your vision dramatically. On my previous car, I had limo tint all the way around except front windows. It was really hard to see at night. Of course, this is my personal opinion. Make sure that tint shop knows how to work on dot matrix glass and don't let them sand off the dot matrix because is easier for them to do that way.

With 35% should be no trouble seeing at night? Huper optiks are known to provide excellent heat rejection without altering night time vision. Yea as of right now i feel 40/30% should be a nice looking mix, should fade in nicely from front to back. Btw here are some pictures of a volvo with 40% huper optiks all around, I like the subtleness of this tint. What do you guys think? Still go with the 40/30% mix or 40% all around? Thanks.

I do lots of night time driving and I found that 25 on the rear is the darkest I would like to go, personally. 35 is little better. I really like the way 25% looks from the rear during the day with the help of dark interior. It almost looks solid black. 35 is all around will be great too. Again personally, I like 25 because it is little easier on my eyes during night time driving without comprising my vision.

I have 5% all around and 35% on the front windshield. Knock on wood i haven't been pulled over for tint in Maryland yet. Driving at night can be a little bit of a problem when u go really dark. Backup Camera FTW!

Huper Optik (HO) will give your windows a greenish hue, so depending on your car color or if you're going for that look, you may or may not like it.

I went with Pinnacle Formula One, which is comparable to HO but has more of a grayish/charcoal look. It is also a ceramic tint with TLSR ratings that match up closely to HO. It costs a little less too. You can ask BlackJack for a testimonial as well, he has the same tint. I also referred someone on G35Driver to the shop where I got mine done and he's very satisfied with his as well.

Here's some pics.
