The trunk was scraped the other week when someone tried to park behind me and messed up my bumper and trunk. Granted the trunk could have been repaired for less than the $1000 it cost for the trunk and spoiler, but again I wanted to have something different.

Here is the hood at its best:

Do you have a front plate actuator? What is that plate that's hiding under your front bumper?

Because even though all our cars come of an assembly line "identical." There are very subtle variations with the fitment. So when Seibon made the first run, I'm sure the products fit the test mule perfectly. Unfortunately our cars are not identical, and when something is just a few CM off, when that gets translated into a huge piece like a trunk or hood, those minor flaws are exagerated.

hmmm yeah not so much.. there has always been a fitment issue with these hoods since they came out i just hoped that they fixed it and i guess they did not... these cars are not off that much unless they were in an accident and not put back right...these hoods should fit pretty much perfect if i am not mistaken... especially not 1/4 inch of a gap in the front of the hood. thats an accident waiting to happen. especially at high rates of speed..

but why would they fix it?

they got the mold already made.

there haven't been any catastrophic failures (that we know of).

people are buying it.

how do you explain the trunk? how do you explain the edges of the hood fitting but not he front? there is clearly a hump not molded correctly...for the price this is not exceptable. IMO
and the spoiler are you for real.. come on

Ok im going to go down and take pictures in a bit, I really think the spoiler is the biggest joke of all of the 3 products i bought. Think of an empty shell with no mounting points, not even a FLAT edge where the OEM spoiler puts the 3M tape... so how can you justify $350 for a small hollow piece that in no way fits? I shouldnt write such a shitty review since I probably will be selling it to one of you guys, so keep this thread on the down low...

Apparently the "High End" G37 featured at SEMA and the car that will be the flagship car in Gran Turismo 5 had the Seibon products on it, im sure Seibon will throw that back in my face..
