I can afford it and I have seen the work in person, it's fantastic without a doubt. Maybe there's something that I'm not understanding that makes a pair of LED license plate lamps worth $500.

Clearcorners does some of the most amazing light work. I always wanted to taillights they made for the G35, but they were like 2000$. You get what you pay for, and they make high quality lights.

Looks interesting, I wonder why they went with that design. I'd like to know where/how we see things differently.

Clearcorner is baller nonetheless. Good for those that are willing to cough up the bills for it

Waste of money. Igor can do just as good of a job, if not better. For a fraction of the price. And he stands by his work too.

Man the headlights look sick and I would pay for them.. but after doing an led conversion on my plate for $10 it makes me wonder how much they are ripping you off.. With sites like superbirghtleds.com we all know how much leds cost these days... it looks like they just slapped some strips onto the lamp housing.. do they do group buys for the headlights?

No kidding! I'd like to know how they got those LEDs all the way down the side-marker. And I also find it extremely hard to believe those LEDs around the projector won't burn out. They look like they're actually touching the projector lense.

Hi folks.

One of my customers forwarded this thread over to me, so I figure I would chime in. Since we are not a vendor here, I will not discuss pricing. But I will however answer a few simple questions.

First, thanks for the kind words - we're glad people like our design. It's been a heavy year with the economy in the dumpster, but we've been doing our best to maintain our high quality work and attention to detail. The new G-coupe is the first to be released for `09. We have new lights for the R35 GTR, 370Z and G37 Sedan that are still in development. We may not be the first on the block to release our goods, instead we try to focus on building a solid product.

Second, in regards to pricing for our license plate lights - its pretty simple. Based on our research, plug-in LED solutions are as good as their cost meaning: you get what you pay for. We have containers filled with plug-in LED bulbs that have been pulled from customers cars. All of them are sub-par and fail to out-perform the factory incandescent bulb. The ones that come close end up failing prematurely. We actually wrote an article and did an LED bulb shootout, we invite you to view the article here:
http://clearcorners.com/products/006/index01.shtml

There are a lot of different products out there to chose from, and everyone has different standards as to what they want to put on their cars. Our customers enjoy knowing that we think about the details which most companies tend to overlook.

We look forward to offering you guys more products in `09.

Cheers,
Mike / ClearCorners.Com

Thanks for taking the time and coming here and providing an explanation. I have seen your work in person and was amazed at the quality (it was a custom fabrication) and the cost.

Definitely looks good, but I'm with the other members. I don't know if I can justify forking over such big bucks for headlights.

If I buy these, please Igor or UCLA Bruin, knock me upside the head.

I've had my clearcorners.com headlights for over 1.5 years and is still in mint condition! Great product and it's the first thing people notice on my G35.

Love the strip of lights on the bottom of your door at the end of the second vid. Excellent work.
