Slight after effect of tinting the rear window..pics inside



got it done yesterday, but this morning i noticed like some white streaks, it'll dry out right? the weather is really cold also, so i guess it needs more drying correct?

at least it's not like mine... there's a horrible glare from any light that comes through. at night it's hard to see with all the headlights. i'm afraid of them pulling off the tint and destroying my defoggers.

looks like it needs more drying time! Should go away, leave it in the sun for a few hours

Depending on how hot it is outside the cloudiness and such should go away. I CA during summer its maybe a day, other places it could be 3 days, just depends on the weather.

didn't the guy tell u that you have to wait 3 days for the solution to dry? on top of that if you have your front windows tinted ur not suppose to roll them down either....

Pulling it off and redoing it should be fine on the defoggers. I had some bubbles in my rear window and they pulled it off and re did it without a problem.

Yeah he told me 3-5 days, don't roll em down or even touch em. Thanks for the inputs.

^^^ which means you have to enter/exit the car from the moonroof for 3 days

That should go away after being in the sun. If not, your tinter should fix. Give it 3-4 days.

Like everyone said, it should go away in a few days. If not go back to the shop that did the tinting and have them re-do it, any good shop will fix the mistake at no charge.

i see a bigger problem. there's a weird red curved line on ur window.

And it looks like your tint film has a bricked house pattern on it...

like said, give it time.. up to a week even if the weather is cold / cloudy.

It will go away much faster if sitting outside in the sun.
