Fuel Door Blew Off!

Fuel Door Blew Off!
Yes, you read that right! I was driving home for the holidays this morning (I-75 north from Dayton to Toledo), and the wind was blowing pretty heavily. I had some 35-40mph gusts coming from right to left. After a while, I stopped to get gas, and I noticed that my fuel door looked sorta ajar. It wasn't really open, but it definitely wasn't closed. So I pushed on it to open it.... and it fell to the ground!!! The door just broke totally clear of the hinge (cheap plastic parts).
Sorry the pictures suck and are huge... Blackberry was all I had.
To make matters worse... one of the gusts popped the seal on my driver's side window. Now I get terrible wind noise whenever I go above 50mph and when it was raining really heavily there was some water leaking in above the tweeter. So to sum it up, during a three-hour trip I managed to bust a window seal, get a water leak, and lose my fuel door...
Anywho, will both of these things be covered under warranty? Is wind damage covered?

WOW yeah that is embarrasing. Infiniti should cover it but it much depends on your dealer really. Hopefully they wont try to claim that you broke the fuel door on your own somehow.

My parents won't stop making fun of it now. My mom wants to attach the door to a gold chain and make me wear it around like a medallion!! Great, I have the most expensive car in the family and everyone won't stop making fun of it. I hate my family...

My family is the most sarcastic bunch on earth. Usually I'm the one leading the charge against one of the in-laws, but rarely does it get turned around on me as much as it has in the last few hours. I just went back outside to grab something out of my trunk and my father had hung a shop rag on the gas cap, so it looked like I was using a rag to plug my gas tank. I feel like it's going to be a long week....
