actually guys i had a similair experience... if not worse.. my fuel door got broken when i was washing my car... dont ask... i still cant find out how(not that i want to find out)... i wasn't looking... it cost me 75 ****in $... about 8 months ago

Did it break in the same place that mine did?!? The whole repair only cost you $75? Did they replace the entire door/hinge assembly?

yeah man im positive it wasn't more than a 100... i didnt have to pay it too... insurance did

so upset...: my fuel door just blew off going through the carwash today. went straight to Infiniti $250 for parts/labor/paint. FML! I am about to go back to the gas station and complain. i hope they can help...highly doubt it but i will try.

Dang I go through one all the time, it's brushless and I have never had an issue. Was the one you went through brushless?

Brushless, yes. but high power..and the dryer is a little intense - I actually just noticed my spoiler has been lifted a bit. patiently waiting to hand wash..in the cold. Whatever it takes haha

honestly, infiniti dealerships are outrageous their service cost!. So they were going to charge me $300 for parts, paint and labor. I knew something was odd about that. so I went on InfinitipartsUSA.com, found the fuel door I need and GUESS WHAT!: $45 it cost me. It came painted to match my OB and I installed it myself.

A savings of $255. anywho, I'm glad I didnt spend all that money and now I can use the savings for an oil cooler kit.!

InfinitipartsUSA.com - USE THEM. fast shipping, great customer service. They matched my vin to the part i needed and it fits perfectly.
