Question Complain to shop about this work?

I decided to put some overlays on my taillights. Initially I ordered Bats overlays, but after going to both Accutint and Dealer Xpress in Auburn, they told me his overlays were cheap quality and they were REALLY reluctant to do the work unless they used their higher quality material.

So I had Dealer Xpress do the work. Now I've never had overlays on my car, but is it really hard to cut it to match because take a look for yourself I don't think they did a very good job. Should I complain or is this basically the best I'm gonna be able to get.

The guy at dealer Xpress said it was hard to get an exact cut and cover the edges? What do you guys think:

I would go back and make them do it again, show pics of bats overlay and how it covers the entire tail.

Or just get the tails painted.

Its wierd because both shops refused to use Bats overlays because they said the material was too thing and hard to bend around the taillights? Has anyone else run into this problem with shops?

I would go back to that shop because you already paid them to install, and they didnt do a good job. Show them what bats overlays look like.

Yea I complained about the edges initially and they said theres no way they can cut it exact and they couldn't do the corners because it would cause peeling? Should I just go back and keep complaining? This is BS.

Bats' overlays are cut way better than that. Show them the pictures to shut them up for saying his stuff is poor quality. Those shops are whacked, I wouldn't trust them to do it again if I were you.

Looks OK from farther away, but looks pretty bad up close.
The shop's logic isn't right - a thinner overlay will be easier to bend to the curves.

wow

DEFINITELY complain...they prob didn't take the headlights off and thats the best they can do to work around it (cause the shop sucks)
if you don't mind me asking...how much did they charge you for it...cause if it was more than $10 (thats all a job like that is worth) then start bitching.

and like people said, show them the pics of bats overlays.
they say theres is better quality but they can't even get it to fit...the least they could of done was use bats overlay as a template since its a perfect fit.
is the shop that dumb that it didn't think of any of this lol

Hello Neighbor , looks like you went on a ride ... Not only did you spend money on the Bats you also spent money for that horrible work .. A good shop can do way better and if I was you I would complain and ask for a refund . Have the bats installed somewhere else ...
