I originally got the 6k bulbs and realized, wow my g37 looks like its the same color as the TLs now. fawk it and ordered the 8k. lol
8ks output suck... I wanna see whats in front of me...

You making it seem like the oem 4300k is any better, My girls Honda fit with some bs ebay hid kit is way brighter than our $40k+ G. Even my beater maxima with the $60 ebay hid kit is brighter than the G. If you ask me, none of the oem hid kits are bright cause they got so many rules and regulations to go by. If you really want to see whats in front of you, then according to everyone on this forum, stick with the super bright oem 4300k, dont be a ricer and want a more" bluish" look.

Besides, its $26 shipped for a pair of hid bulbs on ebay and they are real hid bulbs, not hid style!! lol, did you not know its $30 for a pair of Philips Halogen extreme white at Pepboys? or $40 for a pair of those Supervision Sylvanias that dont light up for shiet? not to mention sales tax on them unless you live in Delaware.

I love the bluish look... I dont like the purple look... Im not sure I understood your post.... but as you get higher kelvin you loose visability/output... so yes the stock 4300k are better to see at night but i feel goin to 6k didnt loose too much and is worth the look...

Exactly my point, do you guys even really see a lost in visibility with the 6k bulbs? Maybe Im just blind, cause I didnt even see a real lost with the 8k bulbs, And the title to this post was best Hid brand, so I just through in my thought tellin fellow members, for a measly $26 shipped, you really cant go wrong, change them out if you dont like them, thats where Im getting to. thats all, nothing else. And yes, Im a car fanatic thats been toying around cars for the past 16 years, I know that the higher the K the less visibility it is, but seriously, you really see that big of a difference? Our hid suck, not bright for ****, even with oem bulb, thats why alot of fellow members added hid to their foglights. That might be my next move, hid in the fogs, just wished that infiniti comes out with oem fogs on the bumpers, that will really make our rides look alot better.

yeah, there might be a difference, maybe 5-10% difference? so instead of being able to see 10 feet ahead, you now see 9 ft ahead. lol!! Dont make it sound like your going back to halogen light where you only see 4 ft ahead. lol

ive had everything between 4300 - 10000 in my last car and 6000 is the best i think. the visibility in the 8000k wasnt bad, u can just tell it wasnt as good as the 4300k and the 6000k. and there was a pretty noticeable diff in the 10000k.

i liked the look of the 8k and 10k but the cops didnt. another reason 6000k wins. the last thing i need is to get pulled over for something stupid like headlights coming home from the bar

6000k hpa capsules ftw

^ Mcculloch is another very reputable brand with oem-like quality and competitive prices. There is currently a group buy on their HID replacement bulbs. Highly recommend!!!

6000k HID bulb comparison

Id say the 8k will be a good amount of purple... BlackJack and I tested our HIDs this weekend...

Max--- HPAutoworks 6k HIDS (90 bucks w/ 5yr warranty ) = slight blue up close but super white far away...

BlackJacks--- EliteEV 6k HIDS (58 shipped w/ 6month warranty) = a very slight purple I mean very slight and lights up very white )

Overall we decided that Elite EVs were closer to the 4300k OEM bulb than the HP autowork hids... and had the ever so slight purple hue... it was kinda weird...and hard to describe...

Here is some pics:

Max= Left/Blue ---- BlackJack--Right/Black

BLACKJACKS ELITVEV -- can see a lil purpler here...

MaxToTheG37s HP Autowork -- can see the slight blue super white

This one shows it well.....

Hope this helps.... I recommend HP Autoworks Capsules for the warranty alone...
I found this post from 2008 and it is the best comparison on this site comparing 6000k d2s hid bulbs. I am interested in upgrading my stock 4300k bulbs. I had iron man leds installed in May and they now make my stock xenons look crazy yellow when both leds and xenons are on. I think the iron mans are 5000k and bright white. Has anyone recently put in new bulbs and can you post any new pics of what they look like. I would really like just bright white with no blue tint if possible. I googled eliteEV 6000k bulbs which I liked the best from these pictures above and they no longer make them. The lady I talked to on eliteEV.com site says they have new site called tempestdirect.com and they now sell sportiva motors d2s 6000k hid bulbs for $22.99 a pair. Any help, comments or pictures would be appreciated. I have a 2010 G37 convertible in graphite shadow I bought as a new leftover in February 2011. Thx again.
Eric

If you read up on these $25 /pair bulbs, they are substandard, not like the genuine Phillips bulbs. These cheap bulbs are missing UV coating, which over time can yellow the headlight covers.
