UPDATE

So I purchased the angel eye projector fog lights online, i also bought 1/4" black diamond mesh. The fog will poke through the mesh and hopfully look clean. I made the vent depth 3" which will allow enough depth to have the 3" diameter tubes behind it and give it the turning radius to go up to meet the intake and also for the other tube to bend around the wheel well and pop out next to the brake area.

I need to mount the horn somwhere else or bend it upwards as it will most likely hit the vent. I have been bending the metal by hand to have it fit nicely as well as curve to form the shape of the two tubes at the rear. I need to work on my bending a little more, the pictures dont give a good represntation of what the final will be.

I havent put the backing on yet, this will have the two holes cut out and provide a base to extrude a bracket for the fog light.

I may get to rivet the vent to the outer clips of the original brake vent (the black thing)

The pics just show one tube for size, it wont be placed wholly within the vent housing, instead it will just poke through the rear panel (thats not on yet)...

keep your eye on this thread then, because its going to look a whole lot better! I am going to paint it flat black and it will pretty much be hidden except for the fog lights of course!

It is light weight and shiney... of course im going to leave it like that. Also im not going to cut the metal any more, just leave it jutting out the front to slice rabbits before i suck them up into the wheel well

I am not going to put the backlit LEDs in the vent since I have angel eyes around thr projector. I am waiting for the lights and mesh before I can move on since they all have to be riveted through one hole. I plan on removing the windshield washer reservoir this weekend.

I will keep you all updated!

I've always wanted foglights down there. Can't wait to see the finished product.
