Parking LED = 6000k vs 8000k D2S
I have a white LED parking light and I was wondering which D2S I should get.
6000k vs 8000k
btw my white LED parking light has bluish purple look. I got it from Ebay MotoringMax.

Yea, your parking lights don't look 6000K. Although, G37MIA's D2S look a little odd too for 6000K. I've seen 6000K in other pics and in person, they look pure white. G37MIA's look a little green.
PM "g37 6mt" for his 6000K D2S pics, those are better match to what they look like in person I think.
Or, save yourself a step and just get them from Lou since you're in so cal, I've seen the 6000K from Amp and they are pure white, not green.

+1 for Lou and Amplified. I had the 6K from HPA and they were too blue for me. When i had Lou do the HID fog conversion for me, I had him switch out for a new pair of the american titan 6K bulbs. They are a pure white with the smallest tint of n]blue aound the edges. Looks a million times better. Plus his bulbs come with a lifetime warranty. You should check them out.

So are you saying that OEM 4300K is better than 6000K in terms of visibility?

4300K* you mean bruin? technically yes the OEM 4300K should have better visibility, since the relationship is inverse... the higher the temperature, the less light output there is... but the more color you get... so the OEM's bulbs might look yellow when you stand up close... but with the 6000K's... they keep the color close and far away... which is the best compromise... anything over 6000K imo loses visibility and isn't really "cool"... they colors don't matter do me, i don't care about "standing out" with those kinds of lights

Yea I meant 4300K. I'm having trouble understanding your sentence, haha.
I know that higher the temp, the worse the visibility but I've heard that that is true for temp greater than 6000K and that 6000K provides better visibility than OEM. How do yours compare?

I know that's what it is in theory, but I'm asking if you can confirm this by experience.
