Looks like you rewired them the hard way. If you tapped into IPDM/ER area, you would've been able to enable both fogs by just tapping/rewiring a single wire for both fogs)

on my old maxima it was just a matter of switching the fog relay trigger from the headlights to parking lights. I haven't looked at the wiring diagram yet to say if this is the case with our car but I would bet it should be a simple mod at the relay box.

Sorry i should've asked how you rewired your fogs first before making assumptions.. (I saw the wheel off and figured you went thru the wheel well, but didn't realize that you were also swapping bulbs! )
The IPDM/ER is an electrical housing box sitting right next to the battery.. In there you have clear access to various wiring, relays etc. I figured that normally it would be easier there since its easily accessible, and tapping into the fog lines there only requires you to tap into one side for both to come on. But since you were hooking HID's there I guess its just as easy
Wakeboardr, theres a few diy's intended for DRL's kicking around (e.g. https://www.myg37.com/forums/showthr...&highlight=drl).. but they should shed some light on working in that area.
