PIAA GT-X 6000K H1 Bulbs

Hi,

I just ordered some PIAA GT-X 6000k H1 Bulbs, and read that on low beam it will look purple and high beam, bright white?

If I install these on my fog lights, is that considered low or high beam?

How well will it match the 6000k HPA HIDs and 6500k Umnitza Angel Eyes?

h1 does not have a high/low. it is a single filament bulb. 6000kelvin is blueish white.

oooh sweet,

I saw in ivorygt's post that it looks pretty closely matched to the phillips ultinions 6000k. Wonder if the ultinions 6000k are close to the hpauto 6000k. In most pics the hpauto 6000k look really blue

you know what, i put sylvania silverstar ultras in my explorer (both headlights and foglights) and they look pretty white. i was more than pleased with them. i wouldn't say they look close to hid, but they are pretty close.

edit: i see a ton of people on the street with 10k/12k halogens that look like hids when you first turn them on. i don't know if you know what i mean...the greenish/blue tint when the hids first pop on.
