Leaky window sills
I noticed that not long after I got my car and it was rainy the passenger side window leaked by that little front speaker. It doesn't do this all the time either. My G35 did this too on both sides and my mother in law's Z did this too. I know that I need to get the sill replaced but is this a common problem and did anyone else have this too?

I haven't experienced this yet on my G37. It did on my G35 twice. I started applying Lexol to keep it compliant and stopped having the issue. I think that the weather and cleaning agents caused it to wear out more quickly.

Did the Lexol leave a film on that part of the window?

It's not the rubber the window just wasn't up the entire way. You will notice when you're on the highway sometimes its loud and when you pull the window switches up the windows can go just a bit higher.

Actually it is the rubber. The seal shrinks and expands with weather. It also becomes less compliant with weather wear and tear. That's why you notice only certain areas of it leak.

I think after a car wash I notice a little bit of water near the left tweeter as well. Not a huge concern since it doesn't happen every time, but I hope this doesn't become a larger issue..

i had the same problem with my 08 g37. the windows would leak behind the power mirror(triangular piece) down under the tweeter and down the door panel. it only did it when it rained really hard or when i washed my car. i took it to the dealership, they replaced the weather stripping on both windows. so far so good.
