Need help!!

Hi all, I bought the LED to replace the license plate bulb from superbrightleds.com. After taking out my license plate light frame, I replaced the bulb. However, when trying to screw it back in, I find that I can't place the clip that holds the screw inside the small hole. No matter how I try, it doesn't seem like it will fit. This is only for the left side of the license plate light "frame". On the right side, the clip goes in just fine with a little pressure from my fingers. Did anyone else have trouble with this? I'm thinking I might take it to the dealership to get them to help me place it back on if nobody has any ideas. Thanks.

I tried pushing really hard and even using a flat head to help push the clip together to make it smaller to fit in the hole but still no luck.... =(

Help!!

Now after installing the door lights and dome lights, my door window stopped going back up unless the car is on. Like, when you open the door, you know how the window goes down slightly? It still does that but when you close the door, it doesn't go back up. What should I do?!

Never mind, I fixed the issue with the audo adjusting windows. Apparently it gets reset when you disconnect the battery and you just have to set the setting again and it explained how to do it in the manual.

Are there any explicit directions on how to take the cover off the trunk light to replace the bulb with an LED one? I've been pulling it pretty hard and it hasn't come off. Is there some special way of doing it or has anyone made a video for that? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

your better off taking the assembly out . I learned the hard waay and snaped the clip off it is hard to get open with out breaking it especially when it is cold

Get a flashlight and look up at the trunk light. You will see a tab on the left (driver's) side. It hinges on the right side. I have to push medium hard on the tab while pulling down a bit to get it to come loose. Easy after the first time. Good luck.

Good luck, but unlikely. And it looks like you can not buy just the mirror. Smallest part I see online is the whole sunvisor at $300+. Maybe someone else has figured out a way to just replace the mirror and will chime in.

I assume that the sun visors in all G37 are the same color, only the interior color of the car differs, right?

Think you are correct. Only options I see are left/right and w/ or w/o sunroof. BTW, Sewell has a small problem with their website and occasionally will tell you their cost and MSRP on some items.

For right w/o sunroof it says:

1 = 1
partid = 7921127
Catalogid = 2
part.price = 252.05
part.listprice = 406.53
part.partnumber = 96400JL30A
part.partcost = 252.05
part.corePrice = 0.00

For left w/sunroof it says:

1 = 1
partid = 7921169
Catalogid = 2
part.price = 252.05
part.listprice = 406.53
part.partnumber = 96400JL30A
part.partcost = 252.05
part.corePrice = 0.00

Which makes me think it is same part w/ or w/o sunroof so only choice is left or right.

Sure is an expensive part. Good luck.
