Hm.... someone else on myg37 bought the PIAA H1 6000k Fogs, they were suppose to be purple/white but they turned out yellowish/pink... and when looking at the casing it almost looks like the oem fogs.. so i'd be careful about the 4000k ones.. if your trying to rid of the yellow...
I'm getting the PIAA spark blue 8000k for my fogs, from car-gym and returning my piaa h1 6000k fogs
PIAA Part #11655 H1 Xtreme White Plus
Thanks! I already have them so going to install and see. If not good match, I will return and update my post.

Let us know too how the reverse bulbs go. I used the WLED-WHP for it. Its bright but it doesn't really act as a reverse bulb and you can't see any light when you back up. So i really wanna change it and people have been saying good things about this Tower III.

Given your warning, I thought I would play with the lights in my son's GTI first as they are a bit easier to swap around.
He has 4300K headlight and we added the following:
PIAA 9006 4100K Fog
PIAA Part #19172 168 Xtreme White Wedge Bulb in side marker
WLED-WHP, Pure White @ 4500K in parking light (right below HID)
The fog is not quite as white as the HID, but pretty close and much better than stock. The PIAA 168 and WLED-WHP match better, but that might be because they are behind covers. However at 20 feet or more, you can't tell any difference no matter how long u stare at it.
Here is a picture. Sorry, but misty rain so best picture I could get.
But now I have used all my spare bulbs and have to order more for the G37.
when you get a chance can you take some pics of your interior lights. the cool white looks cool, but i admit it is pretty dim. i also want to see what the 6's look for the doors. thanks for all the info so far hamdavid!
I posted some pictures in post #73. Best I could do. The "natural white" is definitly much whiter than "cool white". The first picture is pretty accurate in color, but the rest of the pictures have a little more blue than in real life. The 6's in the doors diffuse, but give a center spot as well.
good info. 6s and 12s have less coverage than the 5s so thats why im leaning towards them.
I would definitly try the 12s in the map if you are going to run Cool White at the higher temps. I tried the 5s and 6s in Cool White and it was too dark. The 5s in Natural White were just right for me and at least twice as "bright" as the Cool Whites.

ya but i like the blue tint so much better inside. i had similar bulbs in my 35 so ill decide if its bright enough once i get them.
Probably do it this coming weekend or Thanksgiving week. Ordered a few little things to install and just depends on what I decide to do first. Will post results when done.
