anyone got any input?
I think you are asking about the license plate lights. I would not use the larger bulb in the license, but I did use in the reverse lights. Also, use natural white (closer to 4000K) to give you more light. For reference see post #73 and #91 for what I did.

(this is from skyline-lexy) so thank him! hope he doesnt mind me posting these up.
this is what i have done...its really bright. i actually had these lights in my Evo and they fit in the G too so i put them in.
except i think mine are just 3 rows of 3 (9 leds) they look sweet. definitly lights up the whole car.

i personally always have the setting on "off" when the door opens cause its too bright...but i like it like that.

Does anyone have any images of the license plate lights with "Natural White" LEDs?

Natural White LED Pics

Here you go. I took (2) pictures with the camera flash on and that actually shows the "white" color just a little too "white". File names tell you which ones have flash on.

The rest of the pictures are with the camera flash off and that makes them too "blue" in the picture. I tried both Cool White and Natural White. If you want "blue" then go with Cool White. If you want "white" and brighter, then go Natural White.

The reverse lights are also LED.

Hope that helps a little.

Yep, that is what I did. They are so relatively cheap that you can play with several different ones until you get what you like.

Yeah it seems just about all photos of LEDs look blue. Trust me in that they are definitely whiter than cool white. One of those things that it is better to see in person.

You might have figured this out, but just in case. If you go to the superbrite store to here http://www.superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html . Scroll down to the section and click the little pictures on the very right for the details on each bulb. The WLED-WHP9 only comes in cool white @5500K so not too blue. Some of the LED go up to 10-11K which is very blue. Don't go by the name as much as the temp rating. 4300K is our stock HID.

Make sure they will fit where you want them. Click the more info button for eng specs (sizes). http://www.superbrightleds.com/specs...specsHP360.htm

Good luck.
