Lighting up when you unlock the door?

I swear its only happened to me once, but when I hit the unlock on the door handle, (via the intellegent key). The headlights and everything when on as i was getting in. I have not be able to get the car to duplicate that. Anyone know how to make it so anytime its dark out the headlights and such will go on as the car is unlocked?

Not 100% sure, but I believe if you switch your lights to "ON" and not automatic, and you get out of the car, your lights will remain on longer than the 45 sec when they are on automatic, however, I believe they still turn off after a few minutes to avoid your battery from draining completely. So obviously, once the lights are switched to "ON" then you may get what you're describing...

Again, not sure on this, just an educated guess.

Yeah I have noticed that even when the lights are left on, they will still go off automatically after a certain amount of time. Maybe i'll leave the switch on and see if that is what caused them to come on again after i unlocked the car.

Hopefully you achieve the trick opposed to a dead battery,

Hehe, how about the infiniti roadside assistance card? Do they help with that kind of stuff as well or is it just towing it away?

It has happened to me once or twice when I unlocked the car from the passenger side, but not everytime.

I don't mean to bring back an old thread, but has this happened to anyone recently? It happened to me last night and a few more times before; opened the front door of the car and the headlights turned on. I kinda like it and I'd like for it to keep doin it.
