Is there any way to remove the orange/amber thing from the front headlight cage?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if this is a repost- if you could please re-direct me to the appropriate thread i would greatly appreciate it.

That orange amber “thing” as you say is a federal requirement that there be a side-front light in amber and one in red for the rear. So if you don’t intend to provide similar side amber lighting, it becomes another example of how often you want to be pulled over for illegal mods and the consequences that could result.

90% of people here could care less about lil stuff like that...

I think you meant “couldn’t” care less. At any rate, and I know it’s a bit of a stretch, but I was watching Cops the other night where they pulled over a young female for playing her stereo system too loud. But after they discovered a few bags of marijuana in her center console and under a seat they hauled her off to jail.

Not to get into a grammar lesson, but then you’re saying that 90% of people care somewhat about this issue because they’re at a caring level higher than not caring at all. For those that couldn’t care less there is no caring level left so othey don't care at all.

wow by the looks of that DIY, I would rather pass. Plus, I dont want to modify something like that on a lease. Is there any other substitution? Like an overlay or something that anyone knows of?

You can put an overlay on the entire headlight, but these is nothing that I know of that just removes the amber.
