As far as the amber piece. yes i did the write up on how to remove it. looks great once gone. I have done this in all my vehicles and never had one issue with police. they dont notice stupid **** like that because they assume the car came that way.
And for the old guy who is trying to argue stupid points. i really hope this isnt the old fart from the nico boards. he really just like to argue with everyone because he must always be right.

FWIW, the old fart is right on both the leagality of removing the amber reflector and on the grammar.
I do agree with UNV though that even though it isn't legal, it's one of those things that most LEO's probably wouldn't notice unless something brought it to their attention. If you are being a jerk with an officer during a trafffic stop, it might be an "add on" type of citation, but very unlikely that anyone would notice it and stop you specifically for that violation. The exception being possibly DOT enforcement officers, but they're concentration primarily on commercial vehicles.
And Max - Ensure is awesome! I had to drink it when I had some oral surgery for a few days and that stuff rocks! I chug it at the bar instead of beer now.

I could care less
I've seen many people do this mod on other cars and not get pulled over... it depends on what cop is looking at your car, if a REAL cop is stationary looking to get people for whatever he can get and your flashy nice looking g37 drives by.. he will definitely check out your car... and if he notices you have no ambers... YOUR *** IS GRASS!

Like I said in another thread, IMHO it is unwise to do anything that puts a spotlight on your car. That’s the mistake the girl in with the loud stereo made, leading to her ending up in jail. Take from this “old man” who has gotten his share of tickets in years past. Disabling safety devices like side markers, in addition to potentially being the cause of a night accident (albeit unlikely but that’s why the law was passed over 30 years ago), is not a good idea. There are other ways to mod your car that are both safe and legal.
