I think you can have the amber removed, but they would need to open the headlight up again.

If you could afford to not drive the car for a few days there is a guy in NY that does it, and I know he has had headlights shipped to him.

Mabe you can talk to a local body shop and see what they would want to remove and re-install your headlights.

yeah. still trying to find one who doesnt make me nervous by the way the cars in their garage look. I've talked to 3 or 4 shops now, none of which have any experience with any infiniti newer than 2000. I'm not in any real rush though, just want to get it done eventually.

Check out this place prutkows.

I'm in the same boat you are. I'm in St. Louis too, and there is a SEVERE shortage of shops that do anything but normal repairs. I've talked to the guy at DALO a few times and I'm going to have him do some custom work for me next week. The reason I went to him originally was because he does all the work for the custom cars that Bommarito Infiniti puts center stage on their showroom floor.

If you find any decent places to get work done in St. Louis, please let me know.

yeah, i got my car from bommarito and had DALO do my tint.. but i had to go back to them not once, but TWICE because they did a poor job with my tinting.
