Front License Plate Developer (help)

Good Morning All,

I produce front plate adapters for the G35 over on driver. My solution fits the 05-06 models, but I am beta testing a G37 fit. I need a favor if you dont mind. I need to know what the distance is in inches from the plate where the tow hook screws into to the furthest point of the front bumper sticking out(basically the center peak)

I'm here to provide an alternative to Stillen's expensive options.

Once I get measurements, I will fabricate and test. Turnaround time should be about 1.5 weeks.

Thanks!

Trying to wrap my head around what exactly you're developing.. the car comes w/ a front plate bracket in the trunk..

This solution keeps you from drilling the front bumper for a front plate. There is a threaded rod that screws into the tow hook behind the bumper and a bracket that attaches to that made to mount your license plate.

This makes it simple to add a front plate or have a kit in the trunk in case you get a fix it ticket.

gotcha.. makes sense.. thankfully they don't actually enforce front plates around here if you don't have a bracket on the car (plus, the airflow/tacky look stuff).. so do you need from the center or left edge of the cover plate? (i'm spending a lot of time measuring there as it is, since that's the only spot i can find to put my front camera (since it's not a bar shaped camera)

Hey, yeah I wish we didn't have front plates enforced here either.

The length I need is from the surface of the area where the tow hook is screwed into. The end point would be the furthest point of the front bumper. The reason I say the furthest point is that I dont want the license plate to rub anywhere near the bumper

My best guess is around 6 inches or so?

Please know this is only beta testing and that I would not release the produce until thoroughly tested.

If you could post some pics from G35 driver, that would be great.
