yeah i own my g. The dealership had it for service and chiped the front grille, hood, and front bumper. So they are repainting the front bumber and hood, and they will replace the grille. So I am thinking about getting it after that. How much did u guys pay for the clear bra?

Thanks, the dealership told me 800. But than gave me the card of the place they use. So I will contact them tomorrow and find out how much they charge hopefully less. But I also want to tint the windows I'm thinking 20% or 30%. Does anyone know the CT law for tinted windows? And what type of material I should look for in the window tints?

The guy that did my tint is in Harriman, NY (Near Woodbury Outlets). If I remember correctly, he quoted me $600 for a clear bra.
For window tints, get huper optik. It is the thickest of all the tints and reflects the most heat

I had 3M ClearBra material installed at the dealer...
but the application was poor (esp. on the hood) and so I arranged to have it partially replaced...meanwhile, a fender piece got what I thought was a tear but turned out to have also resulted in damage to the paint (i.e. rock chip)...so I'll be having the ding repaired and will then replace the piece - hoping that it will do the job moving forward (hopefully not just optimisim on my part). If you use a dealer, expect a markup of approx. $300; so you might expect a local independent installer to charge around $500 for standard coverage of hood, bumper, fenders and mirrors. More complete coverage including A-Pillars, front roof, trunk area and even more is also available from some installers...
