I dont think mine damaged the paint but it did leave a small dent in the bumper. It for sure ripped my clearbra though. Crappy thing is I've only had the clearbra on for a few months and I might need to replace the bumper piece already.
BTW: For those that have a clearbra. Did your installer roll the edges underneath the car panels or did they leave a small gap where the clearbra doesnt go all the way to the edge?

Beware though. When they removed the clear bra the first time it pulled the paint off my bumper. They had to repaint the whole front bumper and wait about a week for the paint to cure before putting on the clear bra. Soft paint FTMFL!! Even though the clear bra has a lifetime warranty, do you think I'd ever want them to remove the clear bra and re-apply it? It would probably pull the paint again.

I can only tell you what I charge which is $450 for the front bumper. I use a pretty high grade film that costs more than some other films. But installers will charge what they want for this. 450 would be a good ballpark figure for you to start with.

Feel like selling me a "Rear Bumper Deck Kit"...
for the G37? My local installer must be too cheap to spring for that cutting fee you mentioned - trying to pawn off some old G35 piece that doesn't offer anything like the coverage achieved by the proper piece.

There are different sizes...
from entire hood (more costly) to 12-18 inches from tip of hood. Usually from a few feet away, you don't see it at all - closer you're going to see it - better to see it than chipped up paint on hood. Not at all offensive, IMO - but full coverage would solve your concerns (at least for the hood ).
