A hour with Kevin at KPtechnology and the Navi Bypass module--Thumbs Up!!

Well heres the story... Plans were to meet up with Kevin at Zdayz and let him look over my G37 with Navigation and let him look into installing his new first production line module. He hadnt had an actual G37 coupe to try the production model on. So thats where I came in...

Im heading up there to meet him and theres a bad wreck and totally closes off Hwy 129. Im super worried thats I am not going to get up there in time to meet with him.... Everyones outta there cars and sitting on the side of the wrong when BAM the luck changed. Kevin was 4-5 cars behind me... came up ask if I was Ben and said lets pull off and start working...

So I sat in the passenger sit and got to watch him go to town with my car. Kevin knew how to take everything out and was very confident in his task.

Its not has hard as it may look to normal people... I know I could do it myself now that I watched him. It was cut a wire here, strip some wires there, and solder onto the circuit board (Thats what I thought was hard but I was wrong it was simple) and BAM it was done.

With this module I gained Alot of options that the factory took about when in motion
Ok button is pressed about 3 seconds after the car is started... (adjustable time **** on module)
All the grey out options can be accessed now...
Phone book and addresses can be used...
and much more...

To turn it on all you have to do is hold the round enter button for one second and its on. Then when your finished... hold it for a second and its off...

The OK pressing is always on but to use ALL the Blocked features its a simple touch on the enter button.

I did snap a couple pics but was amazed the entire time and didnt think to snap any until we were done.

These show the wires all wired up.

If you have any questions... just ask... I can try to help you as much as I can.

I recommend this mod to anyone who misses all the abilities of our navi while driving... Its peferct! and helps sooo much!

Special Thanks to Kevin @ KPTechnology for this module and install!!! Kudos bro!!!

Yes if you put the input to AUX and hook up a video player with AV cables then you can watch videos.

lol, i think the hardest part was plugging in the 10 harnesses into the rear of the head unit when everything else was done.

Thanks for the great write up and for taking time out of ZdayZ to allow me to work on your car! It's nice to see that Nissan has streamlined the coupe and sedan!
