Just got back from Infiniti, and the "engineer" said its completely normal...he said it was just the idler gear spinning...as soon as you engage the clutch, it stops and is ready for "engagement"

WTF? thats it? its normal? here is your car...? umm i'm gonna be pissed if thats my reply in a few hours here.. they not gonna do anything about to it? the thing is loud as fuuuu***K i'm embarrased to release my clutch..

hahaha yeah, mine isnt that loud yet, I can only hear it when its dead silent around me...if im at a stoplight with the radio off, I can not hear it...so Ill hang out and see if the noise level increases by the next service, and have them look at it again....

oh man then you are lucky, mine is loud and gettin louder.. must do something about it.. even if they put a new trans i'm guessing its gonna do the same thing after i put some miles on it
