Mine is pretty bad and I don't drive with anything in my back pockets. I'm 160lbs. I'm going to ask Infiniti on Friday when I have my summer wheels and tires put back on the car. My car is almost 3 months old with 1300 miles.

I have an appointment tomorrow for my seat. Mine is happening on the passenger rear seat backrest. It kind of looks like someone just pinched a 3 inch section of the leather and just held it. If I get a chance tonight will try to post up a pic before I drop it off. When I talked to the service guy he said it would be covered and should not do that but has not seen anything like that on the G37 though. He said he has seen quite a few on the FX's though. I will post up tomorrow after he looks at it.

Took mine in today for the rear seat. Warranty is approved so they ordered the leather for my rear seat. $1511.00. Should be in at the beginning of the week for install.

The dealership that I just took my car to told me tough luck, lose some weight and you won't stretch the leather out. They said they had not seen this on any other G's. When it gets worse, I'll complain again.

Wow $1500, they couldn't figure out a way to fix it? Hope it doesn't happen again or this is going to be a serious $$$ issue for Nissan!

For those who talked to their dealership... what exactly did you say? I would imagine if I told my dealership that the seat is stretched they'll just tell me it's normal because you're sitting on it!

Is this really considered a flaw?

What we need to do is post pics here.. EVERYONE.

Then print and take those pics to the dealer to prove that this is a recurring problem issue with the G37; not just your's but in a substancial sampling of vehicules.

Enough proof and they'll have to issue a dealer notice on seat problems.
