Yeah more and more, I'm less and less inclined to address this. I called the dealership, and they said I'd have to come in and get some pictures taken. Problem is, the technician has to be present (I dunno why) during the photo shoot, and he's only there from 8-5, and I simply cannot be there during those hours unless I take a day off. So, am I going to take a day off to replace seats that aren't horrible, with new ones that will bubble a bit in another month anyway???? It's probably not worth it.
However, one of my friends did suggest that I should use my seat problem as leverage and maybe get some free oil changes....somehow I doubt they'll bite since it's not like they're saying they won't help me with the seat. They just won't help me with the seat at a convenient time hahah.

no that shouldnt be a problem, ive seen 15 year old leather seats that held up better than our crap seats. Infiniti has to get some better cows lol, maybe from California?

Had the same problem after 1k miles...I'm only 145lb with highly symmetric butt cheeks . Bob at Peninsula Infiniti took care of me and haven't had this problem since.
The flexible more supple leather that stretches is apparently the more expensive cut, so it's unfortunate that it causes this problem.

I only have this problem on my passenger side seat. NOT the driver.
Would anybody know a ballpark figure as to how much it would be to take it to a reputable upholstery place, and have it redone? Since I have read on this thread that many owners have had the seat redone and the issue comes back?

I too have this issue with my stone interior, the bulge is quite noticeable on the driver seat and really annoying, It seems to have gotten worse over time. Took it to the dealership yesterday and they said they're going to replace to leather on the seat.
I had asked if this was a common problem, the manager said it was more common with the FX's rather than the G's but it does happen. Also that it was due to the leather being hand stitched.
