Yeah more and more, I'm less and less inclined to address this. I called the dealership, and they said I'd have to come in and get some pictures taken. Problem is, the technician has to be present (I dunno why) during the photo shoot, and he's only there from 8-5, and I simply cannot be there during those hours unless I take a day off. So, am I going to take a day off to replace seats that aren't horrible, with new ones that will bubble a bit in another month anyway???? It's probably not worth it.
However, one of my friends did suggest that I should use my seat problem as leverage and maybe get some free oil changes....somehow I doubt they'll bite since it's not like they're saying they won't help me with the seat. They just won't help me with the seat at a convenient time hahah.

wow so the 09s are bad too? its so stupid how they have to take pictures and go through this whole process. Whats the service guy for if hes not making the decision? Its just funny to me that Infiniti knows they made some horrible seats, yet they keep ignoring the problem. Also, its stupid when a dealership says they can only do it once, its like saying "ya we know we messed up on the quality of our seats, but deal with it..."

Doesn't look like it so far. If you read through the thread, a few members have had their seats replaced, but what's the point if the bubble comes back in a month. You can't replace the seats every month!! If you are, you might as well replace it like in 4 years right before the warranty runs out (unless you lease and return the car).

I took my car in to have them look at the peeling leather (I only have one tiny peel right now). They said Infiniti wouldnt replace it cause it looked like I "gouged" it. WTF? I condition my seats every month and there is no way that I gouged my seat and yet it was so tiny and looked like it was peeling. oh well, I will take it back in 6 months when it starts to do it more like others have already.

wow some places are just stupid. why would you do it to your OWN seat when you know theres a chance they wont replace it? i dont understand how they think sometimes and the BS reasons they come up with to get out of doing service.

Until my G, I never worried about what kind of jeans I'd be wearing while driving, I'd even prefer fake leather if it didn't pop or crease. In my Audi I never thought twice about my jeans, those seats were so tough I even broke a True Religion button while sliding in. Didn't hurt my seat, but ripped the button clean off. In the G if that happened, my button would still be there but there would be a huge gash down my seat.
you can see the buttons from my TR's imprinted in my seats for 10 minutes after i get out of the car.

Hey what dealership are you taking it to
I take mine to Santa Monica and they are being *******s about it
trying to say it's normal wear and tear
my car doesn't even have 6k miles on it yet
I was thinking of taking it down to Glendale and see what they had to say
