Do you think they will replace your seats regardless of how many miles you have on your car? Or is there some kind of cut off for mileage?

Yeah as long as your under warranty they have to replace it. The funny thing is our seats shouldnt even have this problem to begin with, but they do so whoever has the problem must deal with it because we didnt pay 40K to put seat covers on our cars

They need to fix the problem, not just replace it.

Same problem. First time they switched out the padding and leather piece. 2nd time it came back they switched out my whole seat. It's starting to slowly come back again, not sure what can be done at this point. I think I'm going to wait and see if Infiniti releases something admitting to this defect and a 100% solution. Getting it replaced multiple times is irritating.

Wow theyre really stupid when it comes to things like this. If theyre going to replace the whole seat, why not completely redesign the seat and use better leather and padding? So that the problem doesnt keep coming back to the same person. They lose more money having to do multiple replacements.

They're going with the band-aid approach instead of fixing it from the root I guess. Not sure which one is more cost-effective for them but as long as they're honoring multiple fixes, I'm ok with it.

Taktix1, which dealership did you go back to get it fixed again?

ucla: i live in northern Va so prob a dealership you've never heard of. Infiniti of Chantilly. The manager was saying to me how the leather and the cushion are losing suction or something which is whats causing it to do that. Right now their only fix is to replace the seat but i dont know how many times they are going to be willing to do that, its pretty expensive to get a new seat. There needs to be a TSB.

:/ yea, it really sucks. My dealership explained the same thing to me, same cause. I wonder why it's not happening on some of the other Gs though. Hopefully they'll think it's more efficient to just do TSB and get it all done than keep replacing everyone's seats.

Crap, I have the same problem, and it's both cheeks. I never have a wallet in the back, and I'm like 140lbs. This car is only a month old (turned 1 mo today actually hahah) and it's got 282km on it. Insane......

I'm not sure if it's even worth it getting it replaced. Like, it's not a permanent solution if each seat only remains bubble-free for 1 month.

But whenever I've noticed the bubbling is always right after I've driven it. I'll let it sit in the parking garage and check it out in the AM to see if the bubbling persists.....I don't have high hopes though.

Mine re-appeared too and I was told that I am out of luck. I'm not going to pursue it at this time, because when they fixed it the first time, they put several large gouges in my center console and kick plate that your feet drag across. I was not happy. I can deal with the bubble- its leather, its going to stretch some.
