besides drilling holes, theres nothing on the bottom of the bracket to screw under the bumper?
I've had Aciras in the past, RSX and TL, they had to be drilled as well, BUT there were holes on the bottom of the bumper to hold the bracket, drilling the front was only an option to make it tight

On the Stillen website, i did a specific search for 2008 Infiniti G37 2 door coupe. I got this kit as a result and it looks different then the one for the g35. I might get this soon and test it out.

Hey guys,
I completely agree that any license plate on the front of a vehicle is ugly. I never mount my front plates on anything I own...Heck, my "new" truck doesn't have ANY plates on it and I've had it for 8 months now haha.
The original fitment problems came from some of the hassles with the tow hook threads being different sizes and different lengths. Fortunately on the G37 there is only one size thread.
The front cover is pretty easy to remove, it should pop right out with a flat-head screw driver, I'd recommend taping the ends of the screwdriver to prevent damage.
To be honest, usually our customer's leave the brackets in the back of the car and only take them out when they're in the courthouse parking lot getting the ticket signed off. In CA it's only a $10.00 fix it ticket and the bracket is easy enough to remove and install that you can literally do it in the parking lot...Don't ask me how I know haha.
