I too take my wallet out and place it in the cup holder. However, there is a lot more to the whole thing than wallet placement.
On my right side of the seat, it appears as if the leather is so stretched out that it's actually coming off the padding underneath. It looks like there's an air bubble underneath.
At only 7k miles it's rather disappointing. I put nearly 50k miles on my SC430 and those seats looked better than this one looks at considerably less...
Just wondering, do you guys use leather cleaner/conditioner and if that would help reduce the stretching?
i use leather cleaner/conditioner on leather seats once or twice a year and personally i see a difference in the texgture and elasticity of the leather. its smoother and seems to be less sensitive to scratches/scrapes and pressure in general....cleaner and conditioner is good for leather. i use the cleaner/conditioner that we got from the furniture store where we got our leather couches from - nice thing is they give us endless product for the lifetime of the couch - and i just keep going back to refill it for free and at home i throw the cleaner/conditioner into bigger storage jars so i can use it on all our cars - LOL
my dealer has agreed to fix the issue by sending it to an upholstery shop. they agreed that a 'few' cars have the same problem with the foam underneath. said if i was not 100% satisfied, they will swap my seat from another G. to that i am very satisfied.
.
speaking of which, i believe it is memory foam, and yea its always garaged right now, maybe thats why the damn dent wont rise up.
.
I hate to toot my own horn but i have a really nice ***.... and it leave's a really nice dent on both sides of my seat.. damn you why do i have to be so good looking....

being good looking and having a nice @$$ have nothing to do with each other...unless your face looks like your @$$...
haha i think to a certain extent, but i think people can be good looking without having a nice @$$. my example would be beyonce...she's pretty hot, but i'm not thrilled about hers.
enough about @$$es..., this thread is about leather seats.

Well, my experience: My leather couch leaves "dents" sometimes when people sit on it... I use Meguires (sp) leather conditioner and it acutally "puffs" the leather and also makes it look supple again. Worth a shot.
You must be kidding? I've met her twice and not only is she a very sweet person, her @$$ is way more impressive in person than on TV. Definitely a hottie. Even without makeup on she's attractive.
