Angry A little ticked.

Well i finally got my last 2 led's for my vanity mirrors and i put the driverside one in with out and issue. I then went to put the passanger side one in and it did not work so i put the old on back in and when i went to replace the cover i F%^$&ng cracked the mirror. Infiniti says you cannot buy just the mirroe you need to replace the entire visor @ $120. So I am going to try and see if I can remove the mirror on my own and if i reck the visor I'll just buy a new one I guess will post pics when i attempt to dismantel.

See if you can find a mirror off of a salvaged G35. I think they are the same part.

No real "need" but wanted it to match the rest of the car.

Trust me, the LED's look 10,000 times better. It's worth it.

You probably just needed to turn it around to make it light up. If you can remove the broken mirror, you can just get any glass shop to cut you a new piece to fit for under $10. You have to be really careful removing the bulbs because I almost cracked mine too.

Yay i just need to figure out how to get the glass out. And no Black Betty it is facing forward I am not that dumb even though i did brake the mirror.

for those of you that did this mod did the lense fit over the light properly? the lense on the driverside will not sit all the way in over the new light. I don't want to F&^K with it too much more or 'll have 2 broken mirrors. lol

No, I wasn't saying you're dumb; I just meant to flip ends of the bulb to get the polarity right. That's why mine didn't illuminate at first. I didn't know that these were polarized at first.

Mine fit perfectly with no problems getting the cover back on.

OK So I fialy got the visor out and let me tell you you have to pull lke a mother F&*KER to seperate the 2 sides. then there are 3 screws to remove. I will say now I am very disapointed in myself as the wife had the camera and I could not take pics. So when I got the Mirror out i went to an auto glass store BUT noone carries mirror that is that thin. I finally went to a junk yard ripped the visor out of a ford windstar. It was over sized but the glass placed cut it down for free and the junk yard did not charge me either. So it went from being $150+ to free. Cool eh?
