Its not a overlay. Its actual african rose wood. That is if your talking about the oem wood.
I will try to post some pictures either tonight or tommorow.
I have the graphite interior and man does the wood make it look hot.
At first i never thought about getting that as an option. But it looked to GOOD to turn down.

I have never been a fan of wood in cars. I like the high tech look of the metal. But I must say that the African Rosewood is one of the best looking wood trims I have ever seen in a car.

I wasn't sure of what color because of the stone interior. Da Mayor I didn't even think of the medium gray I was just thinking of the wood tones. Like jp1080inc has the rosewood and I would definitely like to see those pics when you can thanks.

yeah thats true im pretty sure u can only get wood on non sport. i think the rosewood looks hot for non sport models...i mean it looks real refined. i bet our washi aluminum prob scratches easier...the interior really has an aged and old school look like the way a Lexus or older flagship Infiniti would have...to each his own..personally i wanted to the sporty look so i like the washi in my Sport model but if I got a non-sport i would consider the rose-wood....thing is when i do things like intake/exhaust and ecu tune..and lower it and put rims on - in the end its the washi aluminum that fits my car better...if i wasnt gonna do anything but tints and just keep her polished all of the time - i would really consider the rosewood.

You should be able to order the wood trim from Infiniti and pop off the illuminum trim.

I think the wood looks nice. I wanted to get it, but they said it wasn't an option for me.
