Entry/Exit Seat (Slides when u open door)
Could someone who has the entry/exit seat, the one that slides back when you open the door and slides forward when you start the car, please look at the build sticker on your driver's door and let me know your build date? I have a conference call with Infiniti tomorrow and need to bring some issues up.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Do a search!!
But to answer your question this feature does exist on the M and I believe the G sedan. On the last minute they decided to disable this feature on the coupe.
One of the posters in another thread mentioned that the reason for removing this feature might be because if someone is sitting in the back, his legs will be crushed by the seat when it slides back.
I personally was pissed when I realized they removed this feature but considering that it's a coupe and what I said above I think it definitely makes sense why Infiniti decided to remove this feature.
Okay I forgot to mention the neat way you can make the seat slide back which another poster suggested. Take advantage of the memory feature. To read more about this, do a search.

Comment: I wish there was a way to firmware update the vehicle between the G35 and G37 to add this feature. It can't be a module, it's certainly something in the firmware of the vehicle to control it.

I had this on my prior car, 04Maxima SE, but I didn't like the feature that much. I am pretty small so im sure if I was larger I may have different opinion but I thought it would be more wear and tear on the seats and seat channels. It does look cool if you have never had it before.

I guess everyone tried using the memory settings. Aside from being a manual process and the fact that it doesn't work until you open the door, it's a little slow moving or I'm too impatient... the seat and steering wheel move somewhat sequentially.
