Pre-Crash Seat Belts; first experience

So, I'm cruising through a residential area near my house doing about 30 mph and a truck makes a left hand turn ahead of me from a street on my right. He had ample time to safely make his turn but the stupid bitch behind him driving a filthy black Acura TSX did not. She approached the intersection kinda fast, never stopped, looked to her right and then checked her left side as she was already pulling right out in front of me. She probably slowed to only 7-8 mph and with a house on each corner, it's a blind turn! I was anticipating it and I easily slowed to avoid an imminent collision. The radar in the G "saw" the car and tightened the shoulder belt at the same time I hit the brakes but not just because I pushed firmly on the brakes.
I honked (I hate the G's wimpy horn), gave her a dirty look and went on my merry way.

Has any body else with the tech package had their Pre-Crash Seat Belts activate yet?

Yes. I though it was kind of cool. Having been in a several pretty serious frontal crashes, I hope it gives good protection should I ever be unfortunate enough to need it. A slack seatbelt hurts like a mother in a frontal impact. So does an airbag.

The same with me but, I actually got into an accident. I did feel the seatbelts retract a little tighter though. Pretty nice.....
