I don't think you can go thru the engine bay. From everyone who has done headlight mods have said they have had to go thru the wheel well to get to the light.

aw damn

So I'm following this step, with the addition of removing the wheels first? Maybe I'll do it when I swap out my winter wheels in about a month or so...

you dont have to remove the wheel, you can do it without removing them i have. just makes it a lot harder. You can go through the engine bay if you want, but you have to remove both intake box's and its still a little tight....

Thanks. I guess I'll wait till the temperature is above freezing before I poke and pry around my car...

Are there any surprises to removing the bulb?

I installed some PIAA Super Plasma GT-X wedge like UNV thinking it would be more blue but it's not what I imagined. Any pic of this blue PIAA Super LED or recommend another?

JLai, thanks for the pix. Is that WHITE or BLUE/WHITE? They're showing 3 colors here. I was thinking to put the BLUE but if you have the WHITE and it looks like that, that's "blue" enough for me.

They're the whites. Blue is REALLY blue. Mine are not the Dimple LEDs though...Mine are the regular Super LEDs. They don't have the top cover over the LEDs like the Dimple does. They also only have 2 LEDs Vs the Dimple's 5.
