D2S 6000K Recommendation
Just looking for a recommendaiton on the best bang for the buck 6000K D2S headlight replacement. You can find them anywhere from $60 to $300. I don't want to put cheap bulbs in, but I don't want to spend $200 if it's not worth it.

I couldn't even find PIAA D2S's and I expect they'd be real expensive. I was leaning towards the Philips and found them for $185 but then I found these guys http://www.omnixautosports.com/Articles.asp?ID=1. They are a philips distributor and these bulbs are less then half the cost. I'll give them a try if they suck will order a set of ultinons but I expect they'll be fine.

cannot go wrong with philips bulbs. just make sure the one you are purchasing are actually philips ultinons. just becaus they claim so, doesn't mean it is, especially at the price point.

God, $470 for the 6600K PIAA's that would be nice. Wish I would have saw this earlier...expensive but that would be pretty. The Ultinons are only 5800K.
I'm fairly sure these aren't Ultinons, however they are philips and share the same lifespan 3000 hrs. I've not been able to find Lm's however I doubt they're less then the 2400Lm of the Ultinons... the 5000K philips bulbs had 3200 Lm's. This just makes you wonder what is the difference between these $99 Ultinon bulbs and the $35 bulbs.
