so the actual window parts.. the glass (rear window and moonroof) - were those tinted like conventional style and this overlay was just over the paint and plastic, or is this overlay over everything?

this question is only if the overlay is over the glass too: is it hard to see out of the rear window if the overlay is covering it as well, and is it legal?

i see that on the pics just posted above the car is darkened on the side windows. is that the plan for our G37 as well, and then same question as above. is that regular window tint, or is this your overlay? and then if it is your overlay (which i am guessing it is), same question applies. how much does it hinder your vision, and is it legal...

and then the last question: how does one install this? do you recomend take to any tint shop? the dealer? a deatailing shop?

As far as I can tell, the tints on the windows are the regular window tints and not the overlays. The overlay in question is only for the roof panel (i.e. the part that has paint on it).

yeah, i read all of that of course... my questions came up because of what i had seen on those pics of the sedan. specifically because the sides on the sedan between the doors are black. i dont think that is factory. so if he did that.. i was wondering if he did the whole thing..

That is factory on the new and old G35 Sedan. I can, with almost 100% certainty, tell you that Bat would not sell an overly for any windows of any car. The liability would be too great. Plus if you look at his website and read the explanations of his product, he never metions overlays on windows.
Hope this clears up the issue for you!!
