I think this is a car that can pull off a Tint Strip on the top... I think im sold on getting one... couple Questions...

Does anyone have any detailed pics of there G with an AFTERMARKET tint strip?

Also does having say 35% effect a radar detector?

This car comes with a tint strip on the top of the windshield. Are you asking for a picture of that? Otherwise I am not sure what you are asking for.

 

AFtermarket Tint Strip... like having your windows tinted and they tint a strip on the front of your car...

 

It would look much better if you tint the whole windshield- that's what I've done. I used Huper Optik ceramic tint so it doesn't screw up the operation of the Navigation system.

 

im not much of an illegal tint type person... once you get caught and have to strip it off... it kinda scars you for life...

 

i dunno where u live or how strict but 35s on all sides and 20% on rearview windshield has not had me pulled over at all. On my Lexus GS or my G....The same tint did have me pulled over when I was 17 yrs old in my Accord about 6 years back - but not since then. Our rule in michigan is tints only on back seat windows and rear view windhsield. Unless you have a eye condition with proof from doctor..

I got a 6-7 inch or so strip of 5%. It's awesome... and hides my radar detector very well, so i can just leave it up when i park in public places. This will affect ur ability to detect laser tho... but if you're mounting it there so high up, it wont matter too much cuz ur just prty much F'ed with laser... thas why u get a laser jammer for that.
