Looking to replace my headlight bulbs...i can get my hands into the fogs and the lil city light but i have no idea how to get to the headlight bulbs....do i have to take off the whole headlight housing?
yeah you have to do it just like the g35... take off your wheel and pull back the fender wall. From there you will have access to all lights. I will tell you the city light is a pain! Headlights are a sinch though
Alright.. so I think its a general consensus that the wheelwell is the way to go for the headlights. I was throwing on my winters today and I thought I'd take a peek at the back of headlight housing -- I popped off 3 clips and tried prying the fenderwall lining back but I couldn't. The upper part is tucked underneath yet another stiff fenderwall lining piece, and along the sides its tucked fairly well also..
For those who have successfully gone thru the fenderwall, what am I doing wrong?
- Is there something I need to unscrew to further loosen the lining? or do i just need brute force to pull it out and back?
- of the 3 clips I numbered, do all need to be removed? (I figured that for those left ur wheel on... im guessing only #1 was removed?
I think u're on the right track...i removed all those three...just gotta use force to get the upper part from under the other lining....also from the sides too
