Ambient Lighting Package

I'm in the process of ordering my G. I am getting a G37 Black Obsidian, graphite leather, Journey, Premium, Sport, Nav, Tech, 4WAS, Lighted kick plates and was thinking about the ambient lighting package. Infiniti of course can't tell me exactly what it is, so I am turning to this site.

Any info would be great.

$135 for Leds and Wiring? I am going to wait until someone else buys them and documents the wiring/plug locations. That's $10 worth of stuff, at most.

Well, its a bit more than that... its a direct plug and play kit, comes with everything needed for install so it is flush... no chopping of harness, no nothing...

I have the kit in my hands, with the instructions in my hands as well...

I definitely would like to see what this looks like as well. It's worth the $135 IMO for it to have a clean install.

Yes, please take pics, and can you scan the instructions? I can't afford 135 for lights, but I have 2 12v 9 element White LEDs that would work nicely.

Ditto, 135 is still a little too much for some wiring and 2 LED's.

But the diagram is very helpful, atleast anyone attempting to do a DIY setup now knows where it's intended to be mounted and where the power is coming from.

Redherring - somehow i think the 9-led bulbs might be a bit too strong.. ?

SlapInFunk, any luck w/ the photos of the actual install?

I took a peek under the dash today... from I couldn't find any holes where the lights would presumably be mounted.

Also the instructions indicate that the power comes from a socket that sits behind the glovebox.. is that right? How the heck do you get back there to plug it in?

The holes do have to be drilled...

The instructions indicate exactly where the holes need to be drilled...

One of the kick panels is removed to show a harness that a harness included with this package T's off of (by plugging no cutting)...
