Fully Debadged

So I could not take it anymore. I had to take them all off. I used my hands, finger nails and a squeegee to get them off.

1. INFINITI, was super easy. used fingers an nails a few times. The Infiniti emblem I used the squeegee to loosen up the top, bottom an sides so it would not scratch when being removed. Finally the G37S part which was pretty simple. fingers were tired so used the squeegee.

2. Gum/adhesive removal- I used Meguiars Body/Clear coat cleaner. Poured some on, wipe it around and let it sit for 2 minutes. Then using a micro fiber towel I removed the gum. You may need to do this a few times, be gentle and take your time. Also, don't forget to rotate the towel and keep using only clean parts.

3. After I cleaned the trunk, I used Meguiars gold class to wax her up 3 times.

No scratches and is gorgeous in my eyes. Good luck. Its simple. No holes.

Hope this helps.

i'm thinking this must be a generation'al thing as i dont see the benefit or where the pride comes from for those who do this but it's their ride.. go to town. I'm proud to show off the infiniti brand and g37 name. i agree with callaway... i expect when they designed the car they considered how it would look with the logos and emblems.. w/out those it looks very bland. Maybe you can stick a 'save the whales' sticker in between the taillights.. that might look cool.

not a slam at all...congrats as it appears to make you happy!

yeah, I'm completely confused as to why you wouldn't want people to know what type of car it is...
cool pic though

I think the fad started in Germany where people would debadge their cars so people wouldn't know whether they were sporting an M3 or just a regualr 3 series. I know when I had my Audi, that was one of the most common things to do was to take all badging off. I guess it's better than putting poser badging on?

sick... I think I would have kept the Infiniti symbol though... I'd have to play around with it.

nice job.

Yup, if i did it again I would of left the Infiniti on it but it looks clean. Its just tape, so not hard to put on again.

I took them all off b/c if and when i do the trunk they will have to come off now, so why not make a little DIY video

Did you drive out to the middle of no where just to take your badges off?

I wonder what it would look like with just the G37S symbol placed in the middle perhaps under the Infiniti symbol.

For me I will take off the "G37S" and the reason is that I personally feel the rear of the car looks unbalanced with the G37S on one side and nothing on the other. SO... I will take that off but leave the logo and the "I N F I N I T I"

I'm thinking about keeping the Infiniti logo, but replacing the "INFINITI" lettering with the JDM "SKYLINE" and replacing the "G37S" with "370GT"
