so i'm looking to get my new black on black g37 tinted here in the boston area. someone recommended solar solutions tinting (http://www.solarsolutionstinting.com/) so i gave them a buzz. i'm told they lazer cut their tint from a plotter (downloading templates from the plotters manufacturer). When i call the guy he says i'm the first g37.. they dont have a template and he'll hand cut the tint. he did give me a price of $150 but i think i'll wait till i'm not the first g37 to roll into the shop. plus i like the idea of a template.

if anyone has a good experience with another shop let me know

Maybe put this in the north east region. Soemone from cali is not going to know about who is in boston tinting. Not unless you want to make a road trip

I doubt it - but they have that laser cutter that uses patterns - so they probably just need to get a pattern if it is different than G35's - they do a nice 1 piece rear window.

I have an appointment on Friday for my car. Same place I took my 05 g35. I called today to ask about the template. He said they hand cut everything and always have. I swear I thought it was laser cut when I had it done before. Normally, I would shy away from hand cut.. but i was completely satisfied with the job they did last time. price was around $190 i think.
